Specialist Referral Eligibility Criteria

An eligible business must:

• Be engaged with a BEC-NT Business Advisor to assess the root cause of business issue.
• Have been registered as in hardship with the NT Government (in reference to the Business Hardship Package (01 May 2020 – 01 July 2021)). Evidence of registration will be requested before proceeding.
• Not be able to afford the cost of the Professional Experts advice without assistance. Evidence of hardship will be requested before proceeding.
• Enquire directly with BEC-NT around their eligibility, requests from Professional Experts are not permitted.
• Keep in mind that referrals to a specific Professional Expert is not guaranteed. The BEC-NT Business Advisor will engage a Professional Expert on a case-by-case basis whilst always keeping the businesses best interests in mind.
