Registering for a BEC Workshop or Event
At the time of registering for Workshops or Events, we collect your name and contact details. This is so that we can register you correctly, and advise you of any changes in delivery times and generally manage the operational aspects of workshop and event delivery and any follow up coaching or mentoring activities. We keep this and other data collected at the time of registration for use in follow-up surveys to measure the effectiveness of these Workshops and Events and in providing reports to agencies that fund the BEC. When you attend workshops, you will be asked if you wish to have a BEC representative contact you in follow-up visits. If you agree this will happen.
Small Business Answers and General Enquiries Data Collection
Clients who contact BEC with general business enquiries or as a result of any of our programs may be asked a number of general questions relating to their existing or proposed business. This information is recorded, and summarized for reporting requirements. The type of information recorded includes type of business, area, contact details, location. BEC will also use these contact details to provide on-going information to these clients as new information comes to hand, through newsletters, etc, and to contact you for feedback on how effective our assistance has been.
Information provided to BEC will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it and is not disclosed to any other party unless stated as otherwise. Client contact information is kept by BEC to process transactions. It will not be published or passed on to anyone.
