Most of us these days use Apps either on tablets or other mobile devices and I am always interested to read about the latest and greatest App that is about to take the world by storm.

The problem is, when I read what these Apps are designed to do, for most of them, I wasn’t aware that the original problem existed in the first place!! Yet a new world wide phenomenon is about to be unleashed on us all that will make our lives easier, problems solved quicker all at light speed and for only $0.99c!! Now don’t get me wrong, I am all for technology and the time, effort and angst it can save. But I do wonder who uses all these new Apps and how positively they impact on our businesses and our lives in general. There are some I use regularly such as airline, sport, banking and weather Apps. I ask you, who could live without the Rain Radar App in Darwin after all? The business Apps that I use regularly include Evernote, Flight Track, LinkedIn, and Telstra each of which does assist with carrying out regular important tasks. However, every time I go into the various Apps stores that supply these products and see the thousands (millions?) of Apps that are available I always ask myself…are they all useful and if so, who uses them?

Does anyone else feel like this or am I just completely out of the loop on this topic. I reiterate…I love technology and am not knocking its Application(!). Anyone else out there feel the same way and prepared to share with us what their favourite App is?
