Free Trade Agreements (FTAs)
There may be opportunities for your business to tender for work overseas, with the help of a Free Trade Agreement (FTA). FTAs provide Australian businesses with better market access, opportunities for faster revenue growth and stronger employment growth.
The Australian Government has negotiated six FTAs:
- ASEAN - Australia-New Zealand FTA (AANZFTA)
- Australia-New Zealand Closer Economic Relations Trade Agreement (ANZCERTA)
- Singapore-Australia Free Trade Agreement (SAFTA)
- Thailand-Australia Free Trade Agreement (TAFTA)
- Australia-United States Free Trade Agreement (AUSFTA)
- Australia-Chile Free Trade Agreement
For information on how you can benefit from trading with these FTA countries, visit the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) website.
