Training providers
Once you have assessed your training needs, there are many options available to your business for staff training. It's up to you to decide which options best meet your needs.
Registered training organisations (RTOs) are authorised to deliver nationally recognised training and are a popular option for businesses. There are around 5 000 RTOs in Australia, and all differ in terms of the products and services on offer.
RTOs must meet nationally recognised standards of quality and deliver nationally recognised training. They must be registered by the training authority in the state or territory in which they operate.
Training packages are also useful for staff skills. The packages involve a set of nationally endorsed competencies developed for a specific industry, industry sector or enterprise. Training packages are valuable as they are developed by industry to meet identified training needs of specific industries or industry sectors.
